What we collect

  • Information you give us when you propose a batch: your name, email address, and details about your community and what it wants to buy (community type and size, product, likely volume, typical item value, region, timeframe, how members currently buy, and an optional link to your community).
  • Analytics data about how the site is used — pages viewed, interactions, approximate location, device and browser, and the campaign or link that brought you here (including UTM parameters). This is only collected if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Advertising data via Meta and Google, if you accept marketing cookies, so we can measure and improve our ads.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To review your proposal and contact you about it — our legitimate interests (and taking steps at your request to explore working together).
  • To measure and improve the website and our advertising — with your consent, given through the cookie banner.
  • To comply with our legal obligations where applicable.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf:

  • Formspree — delivers your form submission to us.
  • PostHog — product analytics.
  • Meta and Google — advertising measurement (only with marketing consent).
  • Vercel — website hosting.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent.

Cookies

We don't set analytics or advertising cookies until you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, we don't load PostHog, Meta, or Google. You can change your mind by clearing the site's stored preference in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep proposal submissions for as long as needed to evaluate and follow up on the opportunity, and analytics data for a limited period to understand trends. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@batch-please.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
